Biographical notes:

Spanish jurist and scholar.

Salazar studied law at the University of Salamanca, and received his doctorate in law from the University of Mexico on August 23, 1591. He was a judge of the Audiencia of Mexico, as well as a member of the Supreme Council of the Indies.
