L. Monroe Dunlap, an African American World War I veteran, discusses his his family life, early education, job experiences and college education. The majority of the interview focuses on the college he attended and the military training he received on Wilberforce University campus. He also discussed the different schools in which he taught and the changes in the Paducah School System.
