Biographical notes:

Settler.

Ambrose Hull arrived in St. Augustine, Florida, from Connecticut early in 1801 after he had been granted the right to settle two thousand six hundred acres of land in the territory called Mosquito near New Smyrna. Facing many hardships, Hull and his family built plantations in New Smyrna and St. Marys, Georgia. He died in November 1821.
