Biographical notes:
Ruth W. Wilkin was born 9 September 1918 in Atchison, Kansas. In 1940 she married Donald Keith Wilkin, and they settled in the Topeka, Shawnee County area. She served in the Kansas Legislature as a Democrat from 1973-1982 in the House of Representatives.
