Edwin Sherman Wallace, born 1864 in Butler County, Pa., Presbyterian minister, A.B. Washington & Jefferson, graduated Princeton Theological Seminary, D.D. Washington & Jefferson, U.S. Consul at Palestine 1893-98, author of "Jerusalem - The Holy" 1898 and contributor to magazines on modern life in Palestine.
Samuel Sydney McClure, 1857-1949, founder, editor, publisher of McClure's magazine.
