William Gadwa (1874-1945) came to Oregon from Iowa, ca. 1878, and lived near Corvallis, in Mill City.

William Gadwa (1874-1945) came to Oregon from Iowa, ca. 1878, and lived near Corvallis, in Mill City.
He moved to Portland in 1881, Salem in 1884, back to Ottawa, Minnesota in 1897, back to Salem during the gold rush of 1898 and finally to Pendleton in 1903, where he opened a harness shop in 1913 and operated Gadwa's Store from 1916-1941.
