Letter discusses family matters, comments on NSGW support for teaching California history in universities, the works of California historian Herbert Eugene Bolton, Eliza P. Houghton's "Expedition of the Donner Party & its tragic fate" (1911) and Charles F. McGlashan's "History of the Donner Party" (1879).
