Biographical notes:
Whaling vessel (294 tons), out of Fairhaven, Mass., mastered by Samuel Lane, on voyage from 14 Sept. 1841-9 May 1845; owner-agent: Atkins Adams; built as a ship at Haverhill, Mass., 1818; whaling out of Fairhaven, Mass. (1828-1857); sold to New Bedford and altered to a bark, 1857; whaling out of New Bedford as a bark (1857-1876); abandoned in the Arctic, 1876.
