B. Chicago, Illinois Sept 9, 1895. Received BS in Architecture from the University of Illinois and MS in Architecture from Columbia University. Formed T.H. Buell and Co., Architects in Denver, Colo. (1923). Buell operated company from 1923-1989. Major projects included Paramount Theater (Denver, Colo.), University Club (Denver, Colorado), Cherry Hills Country Club, Cherry Hills Village and Cherry Creek Shopping Center, one of the first pedestrian malls.

Born Chicago, Illinois Sept 9, 1895. Received BS in Architecture from the University of Illinois and MS in Architecture from Columbia University. Enlisted in Coast Artillery Corps during WWI. Served in Europe. Formed T.H. Buell and Co., Architects in 1923. Buell operated company from 1923-1989. Major projects included Paramount Theater (Denver, Colo.), University Club (Denver, Colorado), Cherry Hills Country Club, Cherry Hills Village and Cherry Creek Shopping Center, one of the first pedestrian malls. Donated money to Colorado Women's College, which was renamed Temple Buell College. Later, college reverted back to original name. Partner in Real Estate Equities Company. In 1988, was named Architect of the Year by the Colorado Chapter of the A.I.A. Member of many business, social, and community organizations. Died 1990.
