Wieghardt family.
Biographical notes:
George Wieghardt (1887-1958) graduated from Cornell in 1909. He married Alice Winton Brooks of Ithaca, the daughter of Frederick William Brooks and Emily Winton. They had one daughter, Emily Brooks Wieghardt (b.1920). His brother, Herman Wieghardt (1889-1988), attended Cornell from 1909 to 1910. His sister, Frieda, married John George Pertsch (1887-1928), who graduated from Cornell in 1909 and served as a professor of electrical engineering at Cornell until his death in 1928.
