Brothers John A. and Francis A. Arenz, German immigrants and prominent Beardstown, Illinois, residents who founded Arenzville, Illinois.
John Arenz served as mayor of Beardstown. Francis Arenz was a local merchant and served in the Illinois House of Representatives, 1844-1846.
