Biographical notes:
Ulrich Becher geboren am 2.1.1910 in Berlin, gestorben am 15.4.1990 in Basel. Schriftsteller.
Er studierte Jura in Genf und Berlin, emigrierte 1933 nach Oesterreich. Becher heiratete die Tochter von Roda Roda. Nach Aufenthalten in Brasilien und den USA kehrte er 1948 nach Europa zurück. Er schrieb Dramen und zeitkritische, sprachlich oft exotisch wirkende Erzählwerke.
