Southern Baptist Convention. Program Planning Process.
Biographical notes:
The Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention began its Program Planning Process in 1958 to identify duplicate and unclear programs in an effort to create a better organizational structure. Albert McClellan served as Program Planning Secretary for the Executive Committee, and coordinated a series of studies and conferences that resulted in purpose statements for ninety-five programs. These statements were published by the Committee in, The Organization Manual of the Southern Baptist Convention (1967).
