James Bunyan was a fellow at Walter Hines Page School of International Relations from 1937-1938. He authored three monographs on Soviet and Russian history; The Bolshevik Revolution, 1917-1918; Intervention, Civil War and Communism in Russia, April-December,1918; and The Origin of Forced Labor in the Soviet State, 1917-1921. Prior to his appointment to the Page School, he worked for the Hoover War Library at Stanford University.
