Biographical notes:

Dyson is chair of EDventure Holdings, a company that focuses on emerging information technology worldwide, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe. A graduate of Radcliffe (B.A. 1972), she was a reporter for Forbes Magazine (1974-1977) before working as a securities analyst looking at computer businesses for New Court Securities (1977-1980) and Oppenheimer & Co. (1980-1982). She was publisher and editor of Computer Industry Daily (1985), of Release 1.0 (1982- ), and the moderator of the Annual Personal Computer Forum. Dyson is the interim chair of ICANN (Internet Corporation of Assigned Names & Numbers), co-chair of the National Information Infrastructure Advisory Council Information Privacy and Intellectual Property Subcommittee, and serves on the boards of numerous corporations. She is a frequent public speaker at industry events, contributes articles to a variety of journals, and has been named as one of the most influential people in the industry.
