The guaranty association is composed of all insurers licensed to sell life, accident, and health insurance, and individual annuities in the state of Maine. Lincoln J. Merrill, Jr., served on the board of directors between the years 2004-2008. The association is headquartered in Boothbay Harbor, Me.
