Congregational Church of Reeds Corners (Gorham, N.Y.)
Biographical notes:
After a division of the Presbyterian Church of Gorham in about 1842, some members began another church in Bethel, but the remaining members who stayed to form this church, kept the old meetinghouse and were without a minister. Reverend Cornelius Brower from Geneva preached at the church during the first winter after the division. The church became the Reformed Dutch Church of Gorham in March 1843. Also during 1843 the church was moved to another building a mile and a half away. On November 8, 1843, Reverend Abraham Ryerson was installed as pastor. In 1951 the church became the Congregational Church of Reeds Corners.
