Biographical notes:
The Health Sciences Planning Office was created in 1969 to coordinate efforts for current and long range planning. The HSPO was under the Office of Physical Planning and Health Sciences, and was led by Paul M. Maupin, whose activities were concentrated in building and remodeling of the buildings which form the Health Science complex. HSPO ceased to have a distinct function when Master Planning was formed in the mid-1990s.
