Biographical notes:
Ralph Waldo Green (1885-1946) taught economics at North Carolina State College in Raleigh, North Carolina, from 1925 until 1946. Green also worked as an agricultural editor for the North Carolina Agricultural Extension Service. Green received a B.S. from Cornell University in 1914 and an M.S. in Sociology from North Carolina State College in 1925. For a brief time, he was connected with Tri-State Tobacco Cooperative as editor and organizer and during World War I, he served in the Quartermaster Corps of the United States Army.
