Nicol, G. (George),
Biographical notes:
George Nicol was active as a bookseller in London from 1769 to his death in 1829. In addition to being the bookseller to King George III, he helped a number of wealthy clients build outstanding private libraries. His son, William Nicol, succeeded to the business after his death.
