Biographical notes:

The Jennings family were early settlers of Scott County, Ind. Ozias Jennings came to Kentucky from Connecticut about 1800; his brother Aaron lived in Scott County, Ind. from 1820 until his death in 1834. Aaron's sons George W. and Levi lived in Lexington, Ind.; Levi later moved to New York. Three more generations continued to live in Lexington: William L. (fl. 1877-1924); James H. (fl. 1916-1945); and James M. (b. 1917).
