Cocheco Woolen Manufacturing Company.
Biographical notes:
Located in Rochester, N.H., the company was established in 1862. Parker, Wilder & Company, a Boston selling agent, was instrumental in the company's incorporation in 1863. The company maintained the office of the treasurer in Boston and appointed an agent to run the mill. The mill produced flannels, cassimeres, tweeds, and repellents. It closed in 1950.
