G Foster Pedley

Biographical notes:

During the spring of 1907 G Foster Pedley corresponded with Robert Falcon Scott regarding the design and use of motor sledges for polar exploration. Scott was to take motor sledges with him on the British Antarctic Expedition, 1910-1913.
