Variant namesBiographical notes:
The Parker Mainstreet Advistory Commission was formed by the Parker Town Council in 1993. It was made up of representatives of downtown property owners, merchants, and town residents to advise Town Council on the implementation of the Downtown master plan, as well as promote and improve the Mainstreet/downtown area. Historic preservation experts from the east coast came to Parker for an assessment. Community leaders wrote a preservation ordinance and development standards to clarify the town's goals.
