Biographical notes:

On June 28, 1906 the Osage Allotment Act passed Congress. This act provided for the preparation of a final tribal membership roll and division of the land reserved for the Osage in Indian Territory amongst the membership. Each member was to receive three separate sections of 160 acres each.
