Banks, Charles V.
Biographical notes:
Chemistry professor. Charles V. Banks received his B.S. (1941) from Western Illinois University; and his M.S. (1944) and Ph. D. (1946) from Iowa State University. He joined the Iowa State staff in 1941 and became a Professor of Chemistry and Section Chief of the Chemistry Division, Ames Laboratory. He made outstanding contributions to analytical chemistry and in 1970, he was awarded the American Chemical Society Award in Analytical Chemistry.
