Torrey & Holmes; brass company formed ca. 1853 by Joseph G. Torrey and a Mr. Holmes; Rockland, Me.; by 1873 known as Torrey Manufacturing Company; George E. Torrey joined the business with his father in 1874 and name was changed to J.G. Torrey & Son; brass founders and finishers; agents for Revere Copper Company.
