Biographical notes:

Three brothers, Charles A., Ray, and Stuart Simpson, came to Florida in the early 1900's and established the Simpson Nursery in Monticello, Florida. Richard H. Simpson, son of Charles A., graduated from the University of Florida and married Dorothy Beall Conrad. Richard Simpson served as mayor of Monticello and in the Florida House of Representatives.
