Pastor, educator, and Christian leader of Christian organizations; born Robert Andrew Cook on June 7, 1912; graduated from Moody Bible Institute, ca. 1929, and Wheaton College, 1934, attended Eastern Baptist Seminary, ca. 1936; president of Youth for Christ International, the National Association of Evangelicals, the National Religious Broadcasters, the King's College, and vice-president of Scripture Press; began The King's Hour radio broadcast. Died March 11, 1991.
