Ball, Herbert J.

Biographical notes:

Ball graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1906 and soon after became an instructor of mechanical drawing at the Lowell Textile School. In 1929 and 1930 he did advanced study at MIT in textile analysis. By 1945 he had become Professor of Textile Engineering and department head at Lowell. On his retirement he was named professor emeritus.
