Haywood, Alfred, 1817-1893.
Biographical notes:
Alfred Haywood, a native of England, came to Savannah in 1845 and conducted a grocery business. Some time after the Civil War until his death he operated an ice business. He was an alderman of Savannah, Acting Mayor at one time and President of the Coast Line Railroad.
