Danville and New River Railroad Company
Biographical notes:
Incorporated in Virginia in 1873 to construct a narrow gauge railroad from Danville, Va., to connect with Atlantic, Mississippi, and Ohio Railroad near Christiansburg, Va.; line built from Danville to Stuart, Va.; reorganized as Danville and Western Railway Company in 1891.
