James Hopkins (1877-1969) was a painter and educator, best known for his portraits of Cumberland Mountain people; his wife Edna Boies (1872-1937) was a block printer and teacher.
From 1914 to 1920, Edna Boies Hopkins was involved with the Provincetown Printers. They were married in 1904 and lived in Ohio.
