Independent insurance agent of Galesburg, Illinois, active in Knox County Democratic politics.
Served as Knox County precinct committeeman for 25 years, member of the county executive committee for 20 years, county chairman for 5 years, and county campaign manager for Governor John Stelle and Secretary of State Edward Barrett. Member of the Galesburg Chamber of Commerce, the state and local Association of Insurance Agents, Knights of Columbus, and the Moose Lodge.
