Biographical notes:

Family-owned, major Nevada construction company which operated from 1931-1966, specializing in open pit mining and highway and dam construction.

The company was created by J.W. (John) Isbell and his four sons: C.V. (Clement), W.J. (Wilmer), G.V. (Guy), and R.S. (Roy) Isbell. The company had contracts in California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Canada. Isbell Construction disbanded in about 1966.
