Engineer, Florida official.
Fred C. Elliot was Chief Engineer and Secretary of the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of Florida. His public service career in Florida began in 1908 and continued until he retired on November 3, 1957. In 1911 he made a special drainage investigation for the Everglades district and had a leading role in carrying out the drainage project there and in other areas in South Florida.
