Student.
Allen was a student in a creative writing class at the University of Kentucky when he wrote THE DELUGE. He was a sportswriter for the Lexington LEADER and later became an editor with the Richmond (Ky.) TIMES-LEADER. The play was performed at the University of Kentucky Guignol Theatre in February, 1951.
