Biographical notes:

Richard Brownrigg (1734-1771) was born in Wicklow, Ireland, and immigrated to North America before 1760 when he married Sarah Campbell (1744-1797). They had at least one son, Thomas (1767-1826). Records indicate that Richard Brownrigg was a Chowan County, N.C., Justice of the Peace (1769).
