Biographical notes:

Eric Dibner, a specialist in accessible architecture, came by his expertise through his experience with the disabled community. Dibner worked as an attendant for disabled students at the University of California, Berkeley from 1967 to 1970, then worked for the Physically Disabled Students Program (PDSP) as a housing advisor until 1972. Dibner went on to work with architectural and transportation access issues for the Berkeley Center for Independent Living (CIL). Resigning from CIL in 1982, Dibner worked for Access California until he moved to Maine in 1986. Returning to California after ten years, Dibner has been the City of Berkeley's Disability Compliance Coordinator since 1996.
