Spanish; Castilian,

Biographical notes:

The Lucero Ward was organized 17 July 1960 from Salt Lake City's Mexican Branch and until early 1962 was the sole LDS Spanish-speaking unit in the Salt Lake Valley. After the Cumorah and Helaman branches were created in the southern and western parts of Salt Lake County (April 1962 and October 1963, respectively), the Lucero Ward remained the largest such unit in the area.
