Nathan Wilson Walker (1875-1935) was a professor of education, dean of the School of Education, and director of the summer school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Walker was a graduated from the University of North Carolina, 1903, was superintedent of the Asheboro, N.C., schools, 1903-1905, and joined the faculty at UNC in 1905. He was appointed dean of the Education Department in 1921. He also served on the State Board of Educational Examiners, 1907-1917, was president of the North Carolina Teachers Assembly, 1918-1919, and edited for a time the High School Journal .
George Wesley Johnson (fl. 1837-1855) was a general merchant of Farmington, Davie County, N.C.
