Biographical notes:

President of the Sorghum Growers Association. In 1961 he was named "Man of the Year in Texas Agriculture" by PROGRESSIVE FARMER magazine. Moore also received the Hoblitzelle Award. He served as President of the Plains Weather Improvement Association, sponsors of the Hail Supression Program carried on by Atmospherics, Inc.
