Biographical notes:

Stanislas Kot was born in Ruda, Austria-Hungary in 1885. He graduated with a PhD in philosophy from Lviv University in 1911. He was a professor at the University of Krakow from 1920 to 1933. After the occupation of Poland in 1939, Kot became part of the Polish government-in-exile, serving in various posts until his resignation in 1947. He remained in exile in London until his death in 1975. He is the auhor of numerous historical books on education, politics, and culture, including Socinianism in Poland: The Social and Political Ideas of the Polish Antitrinitarians in the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries.
