Snead, Henley G.
Biographical notes:
Henley G. Snead is listed on the 1860 census as a farmer in Bibb County. He was a member of the 53rd Infantry Regiment in the Alabama state militia and was promoted to the rank of captain in 1837. In 1850 he was promoted to the rank of colonel and in 1861 he was given the title of colonel commandant. He is not listed in the 1870 Alabama census.
