Born July 25, 1937. Received 1960 B.A. degree, University of Arizona, Tucson. Married Ann Lucille Collins, three daughters. 1961-1964 U.S. Army, attained rank of Captain. Employed by Allstate Insurance Co. and Hudson Co. until he became Staff Assistant and later Special assistant to President Richard Nixon, 1963-1973. 1973-1974 Director of the National Park Service in the Department of Interior. Businessman and consultant. Managed Republican National Convention, 1984 and served as chairman of the Presidential Inaugural Committee, 1985.
