Dwight William Jensen was born in Malad, Idaho, in 1934. He received a bachelor's degree from Idaho State University and worked as a writer and journalist for both the print and broadcast media. In addition to the above books, Mr. Jensen was the author of Visiting Boise: A Personal Guide (Caxton, 1981). Additional biographical information can be found on page 320 of the typescript for There Will Be a Road (Box 1, Folder 11). Mr. Jensen died in 2006.
