Elisabeth Hevelius, also known as Elisabeth Catherina Koopmann-Hevelius, and in Polish also called Elżbieta Heweliusz, (b. January 17, 1647-d. December 22, 1693), is considered one of the first female astronomers. She was the second wife of fellow astronomer Johannes Hevelius.
