Greer, Hester Anna, 1880-1982.
Biographical notes:
A native of Princeton, Ind., Greer became a minister in the Church of God in 1913. She had congregations in Princeton, Patoka (1919-1920), Fort Wayne (1920-1925), and Indianapolis (1925-1930). From 1930 to 1950 she was a missionary in Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Cuba, and the Isle of Pines; she was assisted by her daughter Gretchen and son-in-law Rev. Manasseh Stephenson. Greer returned to Indianapolis, built a congregation, and was active until her death at 102.
