DeWilde, Samuel, 1747-1832
Biographical notes:
The English painter DeWilde was noted for his theatrical portraits in oil and watercolor. He first exhibited his work in 1776 and was commissioned to provide illustrations for Bell's British Theatre, ca. 1790.
