Biographical notes:
The Solid Waste Disposal Task Force was established by the governor in 1987 (Joint Resolution 8, Acts of 1987). The task force reviewed reports on solid waste disposal and recommended a regional approach to integrated solid waste management, involving a cooperative municipal, county, and state effort.
The Solid Waste Disposal Task Force submitted its final report in December 1988.
